Qualifications

• Current special education (112 or 113) Connecticut teaching certificate required.
• IEP data collection knowledge.
• Working knowledge of IEP Direct.
• Elementary school special education experience preferred.
• PMT or CPI training required.
• Spanish language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans aligned to IEP goals and instructional requirements.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate with parents/IEP team.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Coordinate IEP implementation with general education staff.
• Design instruction for individual and small-group settings.
• Contribute to a positive classroom and school community.
