MSAD 75 / RSU 75 Bowdoin Central School is seeking a Pre-K Paraprofessional for a 1-year assignment to support classroom instruction and student learning in Bowdoin, Maine.

The role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing behavior plans, and supervising students under licensed staff. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and participation in district professional development are expected.

Competenze

• Valid State of Maine Department of Education Educational Technician I, II or III Certification at time of application.
• Valid State of Maine Department of Education Background Check (CHRC) authorization at time of application.
• Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) Certification or ability to obtain.
• Mandt trained or ability to obtain.
• Strong behavioral management skills and ability to follow behavior support plans.
• Demonstrated record keeping skills.
• Proven ability to function as a team member.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50+ lbs.

Mansioni

• Assists with daily living activities and supports instructional activities as directed by supervising staff.
• Implements and reinforces behavior support plans for individual students.
• Supervises students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, schoolyards, and on field trips.
• Works with students to reinforce and support learning across academic, social, and behavioral areas.
• Collaborates with other professionals (speech-language pathologists, social workers, therapists) as needed.
