Qualifications

• 60+ semester hours or 90+ quarter hours with GPA 2.0 or higher.
• High school diploma or GED and passing GACE Paraprofessional Assessment.
• Must obtain valid Professional Standards Commission paraprofessional certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide small group and/or individualized instruction to students per lesson plans.
• Assist teachers with classroom management to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Assist teachers with assessment of student performance and recordkeeping tasks.
• Assist teachers with development and organization of instructional materials and ensure availability before instruction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
