Job summary

Ampact is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to support students in pre-kindergarten classrooms during the 2026-27 school year. Responsibilities include engaging with preschoolers in activities to enhance early literacy and math skills, conducting assessments, and collaborating with teachers. Candidates should be dependable, computer literate, and fluent in English, along with being 18 years or older with a high school diploma. Part-time positions at 25 hours per week are also available.

Qualifications

• Dependable and with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills like email and navigating online.
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with community.
