Job summary

Cadence Education is hiring a Pre K Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum, foster a warm classroom, and partner with families to support each child’s growth.

Lead Teachers model professionalism, ensure licensing compliance, and collaborate with the School Director to create a safe, engaging learning environment for all children, including those with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in a licensed childcare center.
• Minimum 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children and families with daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs including IEPs.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Use Cadence systems to communicate professionally with families and staff.
• Maintain a safe, supervised classroom following Cadence policies.
