New Simpson Hill District #32 is seeking applications to fill the following opening for the 2026-2027 school year: Pre-Kindergarten Coordinator/Teacher. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 180 days per year.

Qualifications

• Proper and current IL teacher licensing/certification.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, staff, administration and stakeholders.
• Ability to work with students with varying educational needs.
• Uses sound psychological principles concerning the growth and development of children.
• Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities.
• Promote a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward teaching at New Simpson Hill School.

Responsibilities

• Instructs assigned classes in designated location(s) at designated times with punctuality.
• Aligns objectives to Common Core, Early Learning Standards, ECERS-R and the district school improvement plan.
• Maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning and strong student performance.
• Integrates technology and differentiates instruction.
• Maintains records and progress reports for students under care as PreKindergarten Coordinator.
• Attends faculty meetings and participates in school improvement planning.
