Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina Driver's License required.
• CDL with passenger school bus endorsement and Pocket Card required.
• High School Diploma and ability to pass WorkKeys assessments.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience working with children or in related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus as assigned, ensuring safety and traffic compliance.
• Keep bus clean and free of debris.
• Discharge students at authorized locations.
• Report all accidents to Transportation Department.
• Assist teacher by providing instructional support.
• Monitor students and keep them on task.
• Prepare and distribute instructional materials as directed by the teacher.
• Supervise students to promote citizenship and self-esteem.
• Perform clerical duties and administer routine first aid.
