Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2 years (min. 48 semester hrs.) of higher education.
• Must be eligible for a school bus driver's license (CDL).
• Computer skills referenced as a qualification item.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with planning and organizing instructional activities and developing classroom procedures.
• Prepare necessary materials, equipment and resources to implement programs.
• Provide clerical and technical assistance for programs and other duties in line with rules and regulations.
• Assist students with understanding rules and regulations.
• Follow directions of the teacher to achieve goals and objectives.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and monitor progress.
• Cultivate positive behavior and supervise students in various settings (cafeteria, buses, playgrounds).
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and communicate student needs to staff.
• Carry out duties in a punctual, professional manner as required.
