Job summary

Oakstead Elementary seeks an Instructional Assistant IA for Pre-K in the ECP program. The role supports teachers and helps create a structured learning environment for 4- to 5-year-old students under the supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.

Requirements include an Associate degree or 60 college hours, ParaPro score of 457, and CDA or plan to obtain CDA within two years. Health screenings and background checks are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 college hours completed; ParaPro Test score of 457.
• First Aid/CPR/AED training required or complete within three months of hire.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, or complete within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning Pre-K classroom under supervision.
• Support instruction and ensure safety and adherence to health guidelines for 4–5 year olds.
