Qualifications

Strong communication in oral and written form; proficient English, spelling, vocabulary, and mathematics.

Responsibilities

Work with individuals or small groups under supervision of a classroom teacher or administrator.
Check papers and monitor student progress.
Operate office machines and assist with typing as needed.
Prepare and arrange instructional materials for the day.
Supervise activities and field trips as assigned.
Perform classroom duties such as attendance, collecting money, and scheduling conferences.
Substitute for teachers in emergencies.
Demonstrate confidentiality and professional conduct.
