Job summary

CenClear's Preschool at Wingate Elementary School in Wingate, PA seeks a dedicated Pre-K Classroom Teacher for 3–5-year-olds. You will deliver 6 hours of daily instruction, oversee classroom operations, and implement the curriculum to prepare children for future success.

You’ll engage families through conferences and a beginning-of-year home visit, uphold PBIS and Pyramid Model practices, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with staff to support children’s growth in our community.

Qualifications

• Active PK-4 certification.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Must obtain PA clearances (state police, child abuse, FBI) and Mandated Reporter.
• Meaningful work that positively impacts families and communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide 6 hours of daily classroom instruction (Mon-Fri).
• Work 40 hours per week, 44 weeks per year (includes holidays).
• Oversee classroom operations and management.
• Supervise classroom staff and support roles within the classroom.
• Implement curriculum and conduct child assessments.
• Engage with parents through 2 conferences and a home visit at the start of the year.
• Support families as advocates and assist in accessing resources.
• Maintain confidentiality per agency policy.
• Encourage family engagement in governance and planning.
