Qualifications

• At least 2 years of proven success leading a Pre-K or Early Childhood classroom.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in ECE or a related field preferred.
• Deep knowledge of DAP, classroom management, and child development.
• NC Childcare Background Clearance and CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).

• Nurture Whole-Child Growth: Integrate social-emotional learning strategies to build confidence, independence, and kindergarten readiness.
• Manage & Design: Maintain a structured, vibrant, and safe classroom environment aligned with Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP).
• Partner with Families: Serve as a trusted advisor to parents, sharing clear, regular updates on student milestones and daily wins.
• Elevate School Culture: Collaborate with peers and leadership to foster a warm, professional, and supportive school community.
