Job summary

KinderCare in California is seeking an Assistant/Support role to work with teachers in implementing the curriculum while ensuring a nurturing, safe environment for each child. You will collaborate with families to support their child's learning and growth.

You will also participate with center staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals, building strong relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Meet state specific Pre-K guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to assume postures for close contact with children and ensure their safety.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with implementation of KinderCare curriculum and State Pre-K requirements.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
