Job summary

KinderCare is seeking an Early Childhood Assistant to support teachers in implementing the curriculum and State Pre-K requirements in a way that respects the unique needs of each child. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn, and you will communicate with families in English.

You will partner with parents and center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting early childhood curriculum.
• Ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Ability to meet safety and physical requirements (lift 40 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with curriculum implementation and state Pre-K requirements.
• Partner with parents to support children’s education and well-being.
• Support center goals around enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
• Meet state Pre-K guidelines for the role.
