Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have nine (9) hours of early childhood education college course-work or a CDA.
• Credentialed through Council of Professional Recognition or an ECE Associate degree or an Associate degree in Child Development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and managing small groups.
• Ensure child safety and promote positive social interactions throughout the day.
• Help organize classroom materials and learning centers.
• Support observations and documentation of children's development as directed by lead teacher.
• Help with daily cleaning and organizing of the learning environment.
• Complete required OSR professional development hours (at least 20 annually).
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED
