Job summary

SEK-CAP, Inc. seeks a Teacher Aide to support infants and toddlers with teachers in a structured early childhood setting. The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and curriculum support while supervising children and assisting with daily routines in a compliant, respectful environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and pursuing an ECE credential or CDA as needed, plus First Aid/CPR certification. KDHE eligibility and strong communication are valued traits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required or in a program toward a degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Enrollment in an ECE program or CDA pathway preferred; Infant/Toddler CDA considered.
• Ability to obtain required KDHE program approval and certifications.
• First Aid and CPR certification must be obtained and kept current.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional demeanor with families.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of early childhood education with supervision of infants and toddlers.
• Assist with curriculum implementation and daily routines.
• Engage children to promote language development and social skills.
• Document observations accurately in the data system.
• Participate in mealtime routines and maintain a clean, safe environment.
