Greater Philadelphia YMCA seeks a NJ Universal Pre K Child Care Director for the Briggs Mt Laurel Preschool Edu Center in Mount Laurel, NJ. This full-time role leads Early Learning and Care programs, ensuring high-quality, developmentally appropriate experiences for children while aligning with state licensing and quality standards.

The position requires a degree in education or human services and at least 2 years of childcare experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years (2500 hours) childcare experience.
• Degree in education or human services from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Read and be accountable for YMCA Policies, State Licensing Body regulations, and Quality Rating System standards.
• Supervise staff to ensure safety of children and adherence to group size ratios.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's program experience and progress.
• Provide quality adult/child interactions and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Maintain documents for audits and quality rating system standards.
