Waters & Sims, a Merakey family company, is seeking a full-time Skills Trainer in Ocean County, NJ to support students with disabilities through New Jersey’s Pre-ETS program. You will collaborate with DVR counselors, schools, families and coordinators to help students develop employment goals and transferable skills.

You will deliver structured instruction across job exploration, work-based learning, post-secondary options, workplace readiness and self-advocacy, while maintaining documentation

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in human services, education, or psychology required.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools required.
• Case management experience and proper documentation preferred.
• Crisis-management and problem-solving skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Complete all NJ Pre-Service training and professional development as scheduled.
• Fulfill all required new hire training within 60 days of hire.
• Support the IPE process with DVR and school personnel to identify goals.
• Conduct intakes and assessments for assigned students.
• Deliver all five Pre-Employment Transition Services components.
• Support students in accessing resources for employment success.
