What you will do:
  • Support and provide instructional training for participants to prepare them for competitive employment.
  • Manage a caseload of up to 5-8 individuals.
  • Prepare and submit documentation and paperwork according to established timeframes and guidelines.
  • Foster relationships and manage clear, ongoing communication with all parties, including participants and families, internal teams, and funders.
  • Build a professional network and beneficial contacts across the business community.
  • Maintain a balance of billable and nonbillable time at 85% or higher throughout the fiscal year.

  • STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT ASSISTANCE
    • Full-Time hourly direct care staff may be eligible for up to $250 per month paid directly to their student loan vendor. Ask your recruiter for details .
What we expect of you:

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience—preferably supporting people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
  • Some college education; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Solid time-management, communication, decision-making, and negotiation skills—to ensure the provision of safe, high-quality support.
  • Effective, professional communication skills
  • Familiarity with word processing software, database products, email, and smartphones.
  • Ability to obtain CPR/first aid certification—provided by St. Louis Arc at no cost.
