Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with all requirements anticipated to be completed between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Able to work on-site at Amazon’s Bellevue, WA corporate office
• Available to work part‑time (20 hours/week) during Spring 2027 semester (February 2027 – May/June 2027) from our Bellevue, WA office
• Available to transition to full‑time (40 hours/week) for a 12‑week period during Summer 2027 (May/June 2027 – July/August 2027)
• Able to travel up to 80% to project sites and corporate offices across the United States during summer months
• Are 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Support management of well‑defined industrial preconstruction project activities from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution
• Assist with site selection validation, scope development, and design coordination within assigned regions
• Assist in coordinating with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for regulatory approvals including zoning, planning, fire code, and building code requirements
• Help track project performance against KPIs for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainability
• Support risk identification and mitigation, flagging potential upstream issues for clean handoff to Construction Managers
• Assist in developing and tracking project budgets, contributing to conceptual estimating and pricing reviews
• Support vendor procurement activities and review design and construction contracts under guidance
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including Real Estate, Design Engineering, Entitlements, Construction, Finance, Launch/Startup, architects, engineers, permitting agencies, developers, and landlords
• Prepare project status updates and support risk reporting to senior leadership
• Learn to translate technical documents into clear narratives and summaries for non‑technical stakeholders
• Review site plans, composite floor plans, and design documents
• Track permitting status and support coordination with regulatory agencies
• Support Amazon’s participation in weekly AOC meetings
• Support sustainable, environmentally responsible building practices
• Follow and help refine preconstruction processes, procedures, and playbooks
• Utilize Amazon’s information systems accurately and on time
