Qualifications

• Enrollment in a relevant engineering or construction program.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bellevue during spring semester.
• Availability to travel to project sites in summer.

Responsibilities

• Support management of industrial preconstruction activities from site selection through design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Assist in site selection validation, scope development, and design coordination within assigned regions.
• Coordinate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction for regulatory approvals including zoning, planning, fire code, and building code requirements.
• Help track project performance against KPIs for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainability.
• Assist in developing and tracking project budgets, contributing to conceptual estimating and pricing reviews.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including Real Estate, Design Engineering, Entitlements, Construction, Finance, Launch/Startup, architects, engineers, permitting agencies, developers, and landlords.
• Prepare project status updates and support risk reporting to senior leadership.
• Learn to translate technical documents into clear narratives and summaries for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Review site plans, composite floor plans, and design documents.
• Track permitting status and support coordination with regulatory agencies.
• Support Amazon's participation in weekly AOC meetings.
• Support sustainable, environmentally responsible building practices.
• Follow and help refine preconstruction processes, procedures, and playbooks.
• Utilize Amazon's information systems accurately and on time.
