My client Estes Construction in Des Moines, IA is looking for a Pre-Construction Manager. If you are looking for a company with a growth and development mindset, one in which the individual is valued as much as the team; My client is looking for a detail focused, problem solving team player to join their growing pre-construction management team!

As a pre-construction manager you will be responsible for developing preliminary budgets, value engineering, preconstruction schedules, procurement plans, prequalification of subcontractors, detailed take off and estimating, definition of bid package scopes, the subcontractor/supplier bidding process, evaluations of bids, presentation of detailed estimates of the work and evaluation of alternatives for both negotiated and competitive projects. You must be able to present on project interviews and clearly present estimate and executive summaries to client representatives or groups with professional written and spoken communications. You will also prepare bid packages, obtain bids from subcontractors and material vendors, analyze bids, and prepare subcontracts and purchase orders.

Qualifications include:

• 5-7 years of related experience is required.
• Construction Engineering or Construction Management degree is preferred.
