Job summary

Talent With Heart in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Pre-construction Estimator to oversee Superintendents' functions, nurture client and consultant relationships with GMCA, Inc., and manage all project purchases and bid accuracy. This role includes travel to visit clients and project sites, with possible relocation support.

Reporting to the Pre-Construction Estimator - Manager, you will assist in preconstruction tasks, participate in training, pursue new business opportunities, and help assemble

Responsibilities

• Supervise and enforce responsibilities of Superintendents.
• Maintain client & consultant relationships with GMCA, Inc.
• Responsible for all project purchases and accuracy ofassociated Accurate Project Profit/ Loss statements.
• Assist Pre-construction Managers with procurement, setup and tasks.
• Participate in preconstruction training, scheduling and performance.
• Develop strategies for new business development and client relationships.
• Prepare and assemble proposals, bids, and presentations to clients.
• Create clear scopes of work for subcontractor bids.
• Maintain GMCA subcontractor database and vendor relationships.
• Support competitive bidding, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and vendor quotations.
