Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Pre-Clerk to join our Owensboro, KY Service Center. This part-time position involves handling a multi-line phone system, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and supporting dispatchers.

Qualifications include the ability to multitask, type 30 WPM, and strong organizational and communication skills. Prior clerk or freight logistics experience is preferred but not required.

Part-Time, Monday – Friday, Various Shifts

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Pre-Clerk to work in our Owensboro, KY Service Center. Responsibilities will include answering calls on a multi-line system, redirecting calls to appropriate contacts, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. Other duties may apply as requested by management.

Requirements:

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to type 30 WPM with accuracy
• Dependable and well-organized
• Must be computer literate
• Possess strong office, telephone, and communication skills
• Basic knowledge or Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products

Preferred:

• 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast pace environment
• Freight logistics experience
