Ideal candidates hold a science degree and have experience with LC/MS/MS systems; strong data entry and troubleshooting skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, microbiology, pre-med, forensics or toxicology.
• Experience as a senior lab tech or analysis preferred.
• Data entry skills via keyboard (alpha-numeric) required.
• Knowledge of Agilent Laboratory Information Systems software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load prepared samples onto confirmation equipment.
• Perform initial review of LC/MS/MS data.
• Maintain and troubleshoot LC/MS/MS equipment; perform startup and routine maintenance.
• Support the team to meet production goals and quality standards.

Job description

We are seeking a self-motivated Pre-Certifying Lab Technician to join our Lab Operations team in Indianapolis, IN. In this role you would be responsible for loading samples analyzing initial results of various drug testing analyses, following procedures for handling inconsistent or indeterminable results, and preparing documentation to align with chain of custody requirements. This role also performs maintenance on platforms used for confirmatory results including but not limited to: preparation of solutions, troubleshooting, cleaning, and additional maintenance.Shift: Four weekdays plus every Saturday.
