Qualifications

  • High school degree required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to faculty, staff, students and the community.
  • Participate on University committees.
  • Review award notices of funding opportunities and requests for proposals.
  • Manage pre-award activities including proposal development and budget creation.
  • Review proposals for compliance with sponsor guidelines and policies.
  • Guide investigators and research teams through internal routing processes.
  • Collaborate to develop high-quality, competitive grant proposals.
  • Maintain records of all pre-award activities and sponsor communications.
  • Work with the Executive Director of ORGSP and the Post-Award manager for seamless handoffs.
  • Maintain knowledge of sponsor and federal regulations through training and on-the-job experiences.
  • Provide regular reports to the Executive Director of ORGSP on pre-award activities and funding trends.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Duty


  • . Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, and students, and to the community at large

  • . Participate on University committees

  • . Review award notices of funding opportunities, requests for proposals to assure that the University community is aware of potential awards

  • . Manage pre-award activities, including proposal development and budget creation

  • . Review proposals for compliance with sponsor guidelines, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements

  • . Guide interested principal investigators, faculty, and research teams through the internal routing process

  • . Collaborate with principal investigators, faculty, and research teams to develop high-quality, competitive grant proposals

  • . Maintain accurate records of all pre-award activities, including grant proposals, budget modifications, and sponsor communications

  • . Work closely with the Executive Director of ORGSP and the Post-Award manager to ensure seamless transition and handoff of successful proposals

  • . Maintain a current and working knowledge of sponsor and federal regulations, policies and procedures by attending training, on-line training opportunities and through on the job experiences as coordinated with the Executive Director of ORGSP

  • . Provide regular reports and updates to the Executive Director of ORGSP on pre-award activities, proposal outcomes, and funding trends.

  • . Other duties as assigned
