Job summary

PACIFIC CATARACT & LASER INSTITUTE in Chehalis, WA is seeking an entry-level Medical Assistant to support the surgical team during procedures. You will assist Circulator, Scrub, and Physician by preparing and sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, organized operating environment.

This position offers training, part-time hours up to 23 per week, and benefits including profit sharing, a 401(k) with company match, differential pay, sick leave, and access to employee assistance resources.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and keyboarding is preferred.

OBJECTIVEIn a positive and cheerful manner, support and work alongside the Physician and other members of the surgical team to provide an outstanding patient experience. Work with the team to assure that the PCLI philosophy of quality and caring treatment of patients and staff is upheld in all daily surgical activities. Assist Circulator, Scrub and Physician by cleaning surgical instruments and providing sterilized instruments for each case.
