Job summary

Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute in Vancouver, WA is seeking an entry-level Medical Assistant to support the surgical team and ensure an exceptional patient experience. You will assist Circulator, Scrub, and Physician by cleaning instruments and providing sterilized tools for each case, with training provided.

The role reports to the Site Manager and requires 3/4 time availability (30-39 hours/week) with shifts Mon-Thu 7:00 am–5:30 pm.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Pleasant, caring, cooperative attitude.
• Ability to work with a team and to achieve common goals.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with occasional long hours with limited breaks.
• Good driving record with driver's motor vehicle record and criminal history check upon job offer.

Job description

In a positive and cheerful manner, support and work alongside the Physician and other members of the surgical team to provide an outstanding patient experience. Work with the team to assure that the PCLI philosophy of quality and caring treatment of patients and staff is upheld in all daily surgical activities. Assist Circulator, Scrub and Physician by cleaning surgical instruments and providing sterilized instruments for each case. (Entry level position - training provided.)
