Job summary

Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute is seeking an entry-level Surgical Support role to assist the physician and team in delivering an outstanding patient experience. You will support the circulator, scrub, and physician by cleaning and sterilizing instruments for each case, and you will help maintain the PCLI philosophy of quality and caring in daily surgical activities.

Reports to the Site Manager. This is a part-time position up to 23 hours per week with availability Monday-Thursday 7:00

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Knowledge and comfort with Microsoft Office programs, keyboarding.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational abilities.
• Pleasant, caring, cooperative attitude.
• Ability to work with a team to achieve common goals.
• Long hours with limited breaks in a fast-paced setting; driving record and background check upon offer.

Responsibilities

• Support Surgical Team and Physician to ensure outstanding patient experience.
• Assist Circulator, Scrub and Physician by cleaning surgical instruments and providing sterilized instruments.
• Work in partnership with Site Manager and team; participate in daily surgical activities.

Job description

In a positive and cheerful manner, support and work alongside the Physician and other members of the surgical team to provide an outstanding patient experience. Work with the team to assure that the PCLI philosophy of quality and caring treatment of patients and staff is upheld in all daily surgical activities. Assist Circulator, Scrub and Physician by cleaning surgical instruments and providing sterilized instruments for each case. (Entry level position - training provided.)

Availability to work within these days and hours REQUIRED: Monday-Thursday 7:00 am-5:30 pm
