Responsibilities

• Operational management of the sample returns workflow, including staff scheduling, prioritizing workload, quality and compliance oversight.
• Assign and prioritize work activities to ensure team and individual goals are met.
• Maintain quality standards in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures; document deviations.
• Hire, train, annual reviews, recognition, coaching and corrective action for the accessioning team.
• Audit LIMS reports daily to ensure timely and accurate sample processing.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.

Identify and document occurrences that deviate from defined procedures.Hiring, training, annual reviews, recognition, coaching, and corrective action for the accessioning team.Audit LIMS reports daily to ensure all samples are processed in an appropriate time frame and with a high degree of accuracy.Troubleshoot issues as they arise.Analyze processes and continually make improvements to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and at least 3-5+ years experience working in a clinical field requiredHighly organized and systematic, superb attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.Demonstrated problem resolution and decision-making skills for operational and technical problems.Proven success in a laboratory or corporate supervisory role, working with various levels of managerProven ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to new processes smoothly.Proven ability to communicate well across teams and functions.CHI: $55,000-$65,000The expected salary range may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
