Job summary

Duly Health Lombard, IL is seeking an Experienced PAT RN for a Pre-Admissions Testing role at our high-volume ambulatory surgery center. This position is on-site, Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm with flexible scheduling for a PRN/full-time arrangement.

The nurse will contact patients to obtain health histories, assess anesthesia risk, order necessary tests, and conduct pre-admission assessments to ensure clearances and testing are completed prior to procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing and current RN license.
• CPR and BLS required.
• Minimum one year in pre-, intra-, or post-operative surgical patient care.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance; HSA with employer contribution; PTO and 401(k) with match.

Salary Range:$41.00 - $53.00 per hour, based on skill and experience level.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse is responsible for contacting incoming patients to obtain and review health history. Analyze and assess clinical data related to the patient’s anesthesia risk and appropriateness of ASC site of service. Orders additional testing needed prior to surgery when necessary. Conducts pre-admission assessments. Obtain clearances and testing for procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN License.
• CPR required.
• BLS required.
• Minimum one year in pre-operative, intra-operative or post-operative surgical patient care.
