Job summary

Pankratz Eye Institute is hiring a Full-Time Pre Admission Testing and Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse. The PAT RN / Pre/Post Op RN will conduct pre-admission assessments and coordinate nursing care for pre- and post-surgical patients.

Weekdays only; benefits include competitive wages and comprehensive coverage. Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program with an active state license and ACLS, plus strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.

• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.

Responsibilities

Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse at Pankratz Eye Institute

The Pre Admission Testing PAT RN /Pre/Post Op RN conduct thorough pre-admission assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing. RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. Ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. The RN cares for all ages from 1 month to geriatric.

Position requires weekdays only - no holidays, weekends, or call. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
