United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is hiring a Pre Op Intake Nurse at the Specialty Surgical Center of Westlake Village, CA. The role is full-time and focuses on coordinating nursing care, data assessment, and developing care plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary team.

The Pre Op Intake Nurse will perform interventions, implement plans, evaluate progress, and document care, with sensitivity to age-specific needs from infancy to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient.

Pre Op Intake Nurse Full Time

Specialty Surgical Center of Westlake is hiring a Full Time Pre OP Intake Nurse.

Specialty Surgical Center of Westlake was designed with one purpose in mind: to serve patients undergoing surgery without the inconvenient overnight stay that hospitals require. Every procedure is performed in a comfortable, safe environment using the most technically advanced surgical equipment available.

Job Summary

The Pre Op Intake Nurse is responsible for the teamwork and coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data in determining nursing diagnosis, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members as appropriate. The Pre Admissions Nurse identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age specific and unique needs of the patient/family.

Pay Range

$40.00 - $60.00/hour. Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications and experience.
