Job summary

GBO NNHS ASC JV LLC is seeking a Pre-admission Testing Registered Nurse (PAT RN) for a seasonal, part-time schedule (Mon, Wed, Fri). The PAT RN will review histories, coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia, conduct PAT interviews, and document in the EHR to ensure safe and ready patients for same-day surgeries.

The role requires an accredited RN program graduate with an active Nevada RN license, BLS, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program and current RN license in Nevada.
• BLS certification required and renewed within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred for perioperative care.
• Experience in pre-admission testing or perioperative nursing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history, meds, allergies for anesthesia risk evaluation.
• Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia for optimization and clearances.
• Perform PAT interviews in person or by phone and document findings in EHR.
• Provide preop instructions and postoperative expectations to patients/families.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA and accrediting standards.
