Job summary

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves coordinating care, communicating with surgeons, anesthesia, and office staff, and participating in education and development programs.

The role requires an ADN and RN license in Florida, with Bachelor's preferred, and 1+ year acute care experience. The schedule is 1 shift per week; pay ranges from $31.53 to $52.24 per hour, with Florida background checks.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• 1+ years Acute Care nursing experience required.
• Registered Nurse license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 1 shift per week.
• Acts as a liaison between administration, patients, families, physicians, and office staff, maintaining open communication.
• Collaborates with the anesthesia department and promote positive relationships with physician office schedulers.
• Communicates clearly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other departments as needed.
• Participates in personal and professional development programs, including continuing education workshops and in-service training.
• Assesses patients through observation and interviews, confirming medications, allergies, and physical condition.
