Priester Aviation in Wheeling, IL seeks a Praetor 500 PIC to oversee safe operation of a midsize jet in Part 135/91. The successful candidate will lead flight operations, pre-flight planning, CRM and passenger service while maintaining FAA compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior crewmembers, post-flight documentation, and continuous improvement of procedures. A strong flight background with PIC turbine experience is required.

Formación

• Minimum 5000 total flight hours.
• 2500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
• 2500 hours multi-engine land; 1500 hours multi-engine PIC.
• 2000 hours in turbine aircraft and 500 hours instrument time.
• ATP certificate with multi-engine land rating required.
• Current First-Class Medical Certificate required.
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the Pilot in Command, ensuring safe operation and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct thorough pre-flight planning including weather, routing, fuel, and airworthiness checks.
• Maintain Crew Resource Management and lead the crew in a professional, efficient manner.
• Provide high level passenger service and act as primary point of contact for clients.
• Engage in Safety Management System and mitigate risks.
• Mentor and guide First Officers and other crew members; ensure clear direction.
