Responsibilities

What Does a UDA Practice Team Lead Look Like? They look like YOU! As a Practice Team Lead at UDA, you are an important and valued member of our team. You will supervise the daily business operations of the practice through oversight of staff. You will help support leadership on the alignment of the practice with a focus on the core purpose and beliefs of the company to achieve daily financial success and the best possible patient experience. This may include the following duties:

  • Supervision of the daily operations of the practice with reports into a practice manager on the daily progress as it relates to finances, patient experience, and staff relations.
  • Leadership in conjunction with the practice manager, on the annual operating plan for the practice in accordance with Company financial guidelines to ensure the alignment of the practice with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Support of practice revenue through the greeting of patients, communication with staff and doctors as it relates to scheduling and handling relevant payor relations.
  • Provide onsite leadership and accessibility to staff members and doctors.
  • Regular reviews and reports back to practice manager on daily business updates that identify plan shortfalls and opportunities.
  • Report on daily, weekly, and monthly measures for actual productivity against plan.
  • Maintain accountability for effective inventory control and AR management.
  • Participation in the Social Operating System meetings, maintaining the SOS Calendar for the practice and providing support to the practice manager to foster alignment on key operating plan and practice management objectives.
  • Oversight of the Practice’s policies, procedures and processes to ensure they are being adhered to.
  • Perform other similar tasks, as necessary, to support the practice manager in ensuring that the practice meets its metrics in support of its strategic objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.

Qualifications

What Skills and Experience Does a Successful UDA Practice Team Lead Have?

  • An Associate's degree is preferred.
  • At least 1 year experience as a Patient Services Representative or similar position.
  • Requires proficiency in MS products, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Responsible and reliable individual who is capable of demonstrating leadership potential.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of basic financial concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
