Job summary

Mission Health Highlands is hiring a Practice Specialist III to support clinical practice through billing for patient services and oversight of medical records and referrals. You will deliver excellent customer service and handle daily operations while backing up lower-level Practice Specialists.

Preferred candidates have an Associate's degree in Health Care or related field and 3+ years of healthcare experience, with familiarity in scheduling, registration, billing and medical records software.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required
• Associates Degree in Health Care, Business or related field preferred
• Two years healthcare experience required
• Three years healthcare experience preferred
• Experience with practice management software including scheduling, registration, billing, and medical records preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical practice by billing for patient services and overseeing medical record functions and referral processes
• Provide excellent customer service across daily operations
• Serve as backup support for Practice Specialist I and II
