Job summary

Mission Health in Asheville, NC is hiring a Patient Registration Specialist III for our Outpatient Therapy Team. The role involves scheduling appointments, registering patients, and providing excellent customer service to support the clinical practice.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient referrals and registration in a fast-paced multi-clinic therapy setting, Monday–Friday daytime schedule, and handling insurance verification and authorizations with strong multitasking and healthcare

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Responsible for Insurance Verification and Authorizations for a fast-paced Multi Clinic Therapy Practice.
• Strong Multitasking skills are required.
• Experience with Insurance Terminology required.
• Required Experience: One year experience in a customer service role or healthcare setting.
• Preferred Experience: Two year experience in a customer service role or healthcare setting. Experience working with practice management software including scheduling and registration.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Summary:
Scheduling appointments and registering patients to support the clinical practice. Provide excellent customer service and complete a variety of duties associated with daily operations. This position will be assisting with patient referrals and registration, in our Outpatient Therapy Clinic, Monday-Friday days.

Job Qualifications

• Required Education: High School diploma or GED
