Join Chelsea Shared Services as a Practice Representative supporting patients across a busy multiservice outpatient location.You will be a welcoming first point of contact for patients while managing check-in, check-out, registration, scheduling, and other front-desk responsibilities. Because the location serves many Spanish-speaking patients, the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is important for this role.Healthcare experience is welcome but not required. Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and helpful mannerCheck patients in and out for appointmentsRegister patients and verify demographic, insurance, and billing informationCollect required co-paymentsSchedule and confirm appointments, mammograms, ultrasounds, laboratory services, and other follow-up careProvide patients with preparation instructions and appointment informationComplete reminder and outreach callsTake accurate information from patients and callers and route messages appropriatelyMonitor the waiting area and help address patient-flow concernsPrepare schedules, medical records, and other required documentsConfirm referrals, prior authorizations, and pre-certifications as neededComplete required visit and billing documentationCross-train and provide front-desk coverage across services within the building
