Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a General Liability caseload from inception to trial or resolution.
• Develop and execute comprehensive litigation plans including depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Mentor associate attorneys and legal staff on case development.
• Serve as primary point of contact for insurance carriers and corporate clients.
• Support practice group expansion through networking and relationships.

This role is designed for an experienced litigator prepared to manage a sophisticated caseload, mentor junior talent, and contribute to the firm's strategic growth in the Texas market. This position can sit out of Sugar Land, San Antonio, or Austin.

This role is designed for an experienced litigator prepared to manage a sophisticated caseload, mentor junior talent, and contribute to the firm's strategic growth in the Texas market. This position can sit out of Sugar Land, San Antonio, or Austin.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Lead and manage a diverse General Liability caseload from inception through trial or resolution.
• Litigation Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive litigation plans, including high-stakes depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Mentorship: Mentor associate attorneys and legal support staff, providing guidance on case development and professional growth.
• Client Relations: Serve as an alternative point of contact for insurance carriers and corporate clients, ensuring high-level service and reporting.
• Business Development: Support practice group expansion through networking and maintaining strong industry relationships.

Technical Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Texas Bar Membership in good standing.
• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of General Liability or Insurance Defense litigation experience.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing complex litigation and leading a legal team.
• Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
