Job summary

VIA Health Partners is seeking an Operations Leader to drive day-to-day performance for the South Carolina Market Medical Group. You will monitor processes, promote standards, and mentor staff while coordinating front and back office activities to ensure accurate billing and strong patient service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, morale, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning meetings, training, and compliance with VIA policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years experience in primary and/or palliative care or healthcare operations management preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required.
• CPT/ICD coding knowledge and EHR familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operational performance excellence across the South Carolina Market Medical Group Day to Day Operations.
• Monitors performance processes to increase efficiency and implement profitable operations.
• Mentors and assists in people development; promotes teamwork and high morale.
• Oversees front and back office staff; ensures timely patient registration and billing accuracy.
• Monitors monthly key indicators and action plans; communicates clinic activities to staff and departments.
• Organizes meetings and education activities; supports marketing opportunities for practices and programs.
• Maintains office equipment, cleanliness, and general maintenance; adheres to policies and procedures.
