Job summary

PrairieCare Medical Group in Brooklyn Park, MN seeks a Practice Manager to lead clinical operations and partner with clinicians and admins to plan and manage professional services.

You will recruit and retain clinicians, negotiate contracts, design schedules, analyze data, and ensure training and tools are in place. Strong Excel, executive communication, and multitasking are essential.

Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 per year, with equity and market-based pay considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 2 to 4 years leadership experience required.
• Strong contract negotiating skills.
• Strong mathematical skill set.
• Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with clinicians, administrators, referents and the public.
• Must have computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint and must have exceptional skills using Excel.
• Ability to rapidly shift between dissimilar tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and ability to build rapport with clinicians, staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment and retention of psychiatrists, APRNs, psychotherapists, and other clinicians.
• Manage employee contracts and negotiate salary language.
• Collaborate with medical staff/credentialing to orient and train clinicians and provide tools.
• Design and evaluate schedules and productivity models; analyze data to optimize practice.
• Support provider schedules, documentation completion and billing patterns.
• Disseminate monthly productivity reporting (charges, RVUs, CPT analyses) to clinicians and admins.
• Articulate and operationalize PrairieCare Medical Group’s mission, vision and values.
• Oversee additional groups or departments as needed.
