Townhead Medical Practice in Glasgow is seeking a committed Practice Nurse to join the clinical team. The role focuses on high-quality care for patients with chronic conditions, with cervical screening and sexual health knowledge desirable.

Training will be provided for the right candidate, who should be a motivated team player with great communication and organisational skills. We expect 4 days per week, with some flexibility on days and start date.

Qualifications

• A committed Practice Nurse with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ideal candidates will be experienced GPN and preferably a qualified prescriber; training will be provided.
• Focus on care for patients with long-term conditions and cervical screening; knowledge of sexual health desirable.
• Ability to assess clinically and arrange/monitor an agreed treatment plan; training can be provided.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within the clinical team.
• Work closely with nursing, health care, physio and GPs.
• Carry out cervical screening and contribute to sexual health services.
• Assess clinically and help arrange/monitor treatment plans.
