Job summary

The Village Practice in Thornliebank Health Centre, Glasgow, is recruiting a part-time Practice Nurse (24 hours across 3 days: Mon and Wed, with an additional negotiable day). Start at 7:30am; join a supportive team including GP Partners, Registrars, and practice staff.

Experience in CDM and cervical screening is essential; EMIS/DOCMAN used for records. Requirements include NMC registration, Enhanced Disclosure, and training in Cervical cytology, family planning and sexual health within a GP

Qualifications

• NMC registered (RN)
• Enhanced Disclosure up to date
• CDM training and recalled systems experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing duties in a GP training practice.
• Create and run CDM recall systems.
• Provide phlebotomy services and contribute to patient education.
• Maintain high standards of record keeping and confidentiality.
• Work within a friendly, supportive multidisciplinary team.
