Glasgow LMC Ltd. is seeking a motivated Practice Nurse to join our team in Glasgow. The role is part-time, offering 10–12 hours per week with flexible negotiation.

You will work alongside a friendly, dedicated team and support a GP Partner, practice manager and admin staff. The successful candidate will have strong experience in chronic disease management, cytology, BP monitoring, wound management and phlebotomy. NMC registration is required; Independent Nurse Prescriber is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered NMC nurse with current registration.
• Experience in chronic disease management and phlebotomy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Part-time role with 10–12 hours per week, negotiated.
• Independent Nurse Prescriber preferred.

We have an opening to replace our Practice Nurse, following many years with the practice. We are seeking an equally motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse who would like to come and work with us. You will work in a supportive environment alongside a friendly, hard-working team. We are supported by 1 GP Partner, a long time Locum , Practice Manager, Deputy Manager along with a small Admin/Reception team and Community Pharmacist.

The role is part-time working between 10 and 12 hours per week at times negotiated with our incoming Practice Nurse. We would like to encourage a good work/life balance for our new Practice Nurse.

You will have experience in chronic disease management, cytology, blood pressure monitoring, wound management, phlebotomy and other general nursing duties. The practice will be moving to Vision in November. Presently we use both EMIS and Docman.

You should be a Registered Nurse with NMC registration. Ideally you should be an Independent Nurse Prescriber. Within your role it is important to have strong communication skills. You should have the ability work both independently and part of a small team.
