Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care is seeking a Practice Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You will oversee daily operations, lead clinical and admin teams, and drive initiatives that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

In this role, you will implement strategic plans, optimize workflows, and foster a positive culture while ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent service across multiple locations. Strong leadership and EMR experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in healthcare, hospitality, or retail management.
• Familiarity with healthcare operations, insurance processes, and coding (ICD-9, CPT) is helpful but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience using EMR software, EPIC preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.
• Customer-centric mindset focused on delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire clinical and administrative staff to ensure top-tier patient care and service.
• Drive operational excellence by implementing strategies to meet budget goals and KPIs.
• Develop strategic vision with annual goals aligned to Piedmont Urgent Care’s mission.
• Ensure compliance and quality in partnership with clinical leadership.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, and team development.
• Monitor inventory and resources to ensure supplies and equipment availability.
• Support local growth by collaborating with marketing to increase center visibility and patient volume.
• Foster a positive culture reflecting core values: kindness, excellence, empowerment, resilience, proactive service.
• Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.
