Job summary

VetEvolve is seeking a Practice Manager for our Easton, Maryland hospital. The role leads daily operations, drives clinical and client service excellence, and ensures strong financial performance in a growing veterinary network.

The manager partners with the Regional Manager to align inventory, staffing, and physician collaboration with VetEvolve’s mission: Care First. Better Together. Grow Forward. Own It.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a veterinary setting.
• CVPM designation preferred or willingness to pursue certification.

Responsibilities

• Own hospital-level results across revenue, labor, client satisfaction, and operations; report to Regional Manager.
• Manage all hospital operations to ensure smooth, high-quality patient care and service.
• Oversee payroll hours and timely submission for processing; monitor payroll costs vs. budget.
• Coordinate accounts payable activities and communicate with the bookkeeper.
• Lead proactive inventory management and communicate updates to the team.
• Develop staff and doctor schedules to balance patient flow and workload.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate team members across departments.
• Foster a positive culture and align with VetEvolve’s mission and values.
• Oversee front-of-house and treatment areas for a seamless client and patient experience.
• Maintain communication with veterinarians to improve medical quality and client service.
