Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Practice Manager to lead ambulatory care operations, drive accountability, and ensure patient safety and quality of care at the St. George Regional Hospital site.

The role includes hiring decisions, performance reviews, coaching, and collaboration with HR and IT teams to support operations. The manager will oversee multiple clinics, work with physicians/APPs, manage budgets, and travel as needed to coordinate across markets, while promoting equity and patient

Job Description

The Practice Manager provides effective leadership and creates a culture of accountability for ambulatory care operations including excellence in patient and caregiver safety, quality assurance of care, patient experience, equity, patient access to care, financial stewardship including budget management, caregiver engagement, and growth. The Practice Manager makes employment decisions including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching and corrective action decisions. This role also supports ancillary services such as human resources and information systems.

Complexity Of Scope – Primary Determinant

The practice manager is typically responsible for and collaborates with 5 to 13 Physicians and/or APPs and 12-30 Caregivers and oversees approximately 1 to 4 clinics. They could potentially manage multiple specialties across a market which may require some travel. The Practice Manager role may have oversight of up to 3 direct leader reports of which they will be required to lead and foster their development.

• Masters Degree in a related field
• 2 years leadership experience in a healthcare setting
