Job description

Overview

The Role: We are looking for a full-time practice manager to join our team. You will report to the practice owner/founder and assist with the day-to-day running of the operational side of the clinic. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with extraordinary attention to detail and a proven track record of performance management. If you need hand holding, to be told what to do, or you require someone else to organize you, this is not for you. If you enjoy being the pivotal person in a busy team, building processes and workflows, and you want to join a team that works together and supports each other while enjoying hard work, then we should talk.

The right person is likely to have been supervising or managing a team for at least two years and should be ready to step up to a role with significant growth and career opportunities as we continue to expand. You will be responsible for managing a team of Physical Therapists and Administrative staff, ensuring company KPI targets are met, and ensuring internal procedures are documented, continually developed, and adhered to by staff. You will also help ensure the company culture is improved and daily rituals are maintained.

  • Wants to learn about many aspects of management and develop your business and communication skills
  • Is extremely detail oriented and appreciates an organized, systematic approach to achieving success
  • Likes working for a smaller (but growing) company where ideas and contributions directly impact the company’s success, direction, and growth
  • Is a quick, self-motivated learner who wants to work for a company that will invest in their education
  • Wants a position with upward earning potential and career advancement
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs are met and reported to the CEO with a written summary
  • Develop and regularly update the online company process and procedures library
  • Maintain and continually develop company rituals; ensure current rituals are adhered to
  • Foster deeper relationships with customers, clients, and vendors
  • Lead performance reviews of staff and provide summaries to the CEO
  • Review and evolve employee scorecards (responsibilities, expectations, KPIs)
  • Organize and plan external events/meetings for the CEO, client-appreciation events, and team-building activities
  • Contribute to shaping the organization with future hires/fires
Skills Required
  • Analytical skills: draw insights from data/KPIs and report to the CEO

  • Ability to focus on key priorities
  • Follow-through on commitments and maintain verbal and written agreements
  • Learn quickly and absorb new information efficiently
  • Attention to detail and ability to prevent important details from slipping through the cracks
  • Persistence and tenacity to complete tasks
  • Proactivity and ability to bring new ideas to the company
  • Experience with hiring and firing
What we will do for you
  • Provide ongoing training and support in management and leadership
  • Opportunity to develop and grow a team while growing your own management and leadership skills
